I love using PanPastel, and I also am learning to paint with oils. My go-to oil paints are M. Graham with a few exceptions. In order to "cross-train" my eye and hand, I decided to compare the colors from my PanPastel Palette to colors available in M. Graham oil paints. I discovered a lot of interesting things. I also realized that one big advantage to doing the PanPastel color charts is that if there is a color that I love in oil that is not available in Pans, I can just look at my charts and see what mix approximates the oil color. This was an unexpected bonus! Here is my comparison chart. You may want to do this with your favorite colors.
